The second solution from OSH is the Mass Triage and Treatment Center™ (MTC) which is a modular, “combat loaded” product that is also offered in 20-foot, 40-foot, and additional models. The MTC is designed to treat patients (people) that need medical care; but ultimate disposition is home, not a hospital in-patient bed. One component that can be added is a critical care component. The scope and capacity can be from a dual lane basic treatment center to a four-lane treatment center with critical care options. All options offer variable response with variable footprints. During surge events, access to critical care can be denied and could be provided in this environment. While these clinical goals are designed for the base unit, clinical goals can be customized based on the customer’s requirements.

An MTC can be custom build to stock or built-on-demand based on the surge event. This flexibility is due to the it's modularity and component construction. It's functionality can be configured to accomplish preventative medical care such as immunizations.
